Donate a Drone for Manatee Research!
Drone technology gives marine researchers a safe, cost-effective, and low-impact way to survey coastlines, count manatees, and monitor behaviors without disturbing the wildlife. But not every local biologist or student has access to this game-changing tech.
Following our recent Wider Caribbean Manatee Alliance (WCMA) drone training workshop in the Dominican Republic, we are launching a campaign to equip scientists across nine Caribbean countries with the tools they need. We are collecting and redistributing used drones to local researchers so they can put their new flight and data analysis skills into action. Your retired gear can log new flight hours for an incredible cause!
Just fill out this quick form with your contact info and the type of drone you’d like to donate, and our team will contact you with more details on how to ship or drop off your equipment.
